Helpful Meal Plan Tips  for 2010 - 2011

Using Meals - You may use your meals at any time of the day - as many times a day as you wish - until you have used the number of meals allotted to you for the week or semester - depending upon your plan. For the Super and Commuter 5 Meal Plans, your meals are allotted on a weekly basis.  A meal week begins with breakfast on Friday.  If you are not sure how many meals you have used, you may want to ask a cashier to check your meal plan balance for you. For block plans, you may eat your meals whenever you wish and as many times a week as you wish, until you have used all of the meals allotted to you for the semester.

Meal Deals - Your meal plan "Meals" may be used at the Eagle's Nest or the Underground Cafe in order to purchase special menu combinations called "Meal Deals".    "Meals" may not be used to purchase a la carte items. Additional Flex Dollars are part of the new Block Meal Plans and enhance your ability to make retail purchases during the year.

Guest Meals - Block Meal Plans allow you to use up to five meals each semester to pay for guests.    If your plan does not included Guest Meals, or if you run out of Guest Meals, you may use Flex Dollars, EagleOne, cash, or credit to purchase a meal for your friends or family.

Special Events - Dining Services sponsors many special events during the year to enhance your dining experiences.  Unless otherwise noted, the cost of these events is simply a regular meal plan "meal" (a meal swipe on your EagleOne Card).  If you have used all of your meals you may always participate in these events by paying for the price of the meal with Flex Dollars, EagleOne, cash or credit.
